Al Copley -- A Tribute to Erroll Garner
"Joy is the word which best describes the music of Erroll Garner to me. When I think of his performances, the unspoken declaration "It's all good" is what I hear and see from the man. Pianist and vocalist Al Copley, who has performed solo several times on the main stage at the Montreux Jazz Fest will interpret and pay tribute to this great artist. Rather than an entire performance of Erroll "covers," without copying, but with deep appreciation, Al is delighted to honor that love of harmony and life which is known as Erroll Garner in the intimate setting of Stage 72.
