Al Scorch / Devil In A Woodpile / Ben Hunter & Joe Seamons
Al Scorch
Grafting literate, character-driven song craft and Mid-American roots with a post-punk DIY attitude, Chicago-based songwriter, performer and instrumentalist Al Scorch charts a new musical topography with a five-string banjo.

Devil In A Woodpile
Rick Sherry and Tom V. Ray first began playing together in the early 1990s as part of the Jake LaBotz Trio. After this unit broke up, the group began backing David Honeyboy Edwards, and performed as Devil in a Woodpile in between sets. Signing with local folk/country label Bloodshot Records, the group released its first album in 1998 and a second in 2000. Soon after this they toured with Son Volt in the USA. Adding Madison, Wisconsin native Joel Paterson to the lineup in 2003, the group released its third record for Bloodshot in 2005. Gary Schepers (tuba) or Beau Sample (bass) often play with the band when Tom Ray is not available.

Ben Hunter & Joe Seamons
After meeting at the crossroads of blues and folk music in the Pacific Northwest, Ben Hunter and Joe Seamons established themselves as a duo after their first year at the Pt. Townsend Acoustic Blues Festival in 2012. Delving deeper into their shared love of traditional and communal American musical styles, they developed their sound by adapting the arrangements of luminaries such as Blind Willie McTell to their main instruments: fiddle and banjo.
