Tomorrow, September 7 The Execution of Nancy Drew in Waco Texas: Part of the San Francisco Fringe Festival! In this absurdist political mystery, Nancy Drew is scheduled to be executed in three days for the murder of her husband. Her two best chums and their odd husbands come to Waco for support. Even though Nancy Drew has confessed to the crime, her chums are determined to get to the truth of the matter.

Thursday, September 8 Killing My Lobster Pops the Question 4.0: Your favorite sketch comedy group is bringing back a fourth round of mind-melting trivia! Help KML reach its fundraising goal for their upcoming full-length sketch comedy show, Killing My Lobster Conquers The Galaxy. Bring your friends, your noggins, and a little cash to one of KML's favorite watering holes, and enjoy an evening of food, drinks, and some brain-twisting competition.

Friday, September 9 through Sunday, September 11 12th Annual SAN FRANCISCO ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL: This festival will feature a range of electronic music composers, performers and sound art practitioners including respected pioneers and emerging artists whose work spans the sonic spectra  from ambient to rhythmic, from atonal to melodic. As the only San Francisco music festival dedicated solely to electronic music, SFEMF brings together the varied practices of artists working with laptop generated sound, processed live acoustic instruments, amplified found objects, projected video, improvisation, and performance art.

Friday, September 9 Panic!: Part of the San Francisco Fringe Festival! This comedy traces the journey of a community college English teacher who starts having panic attacks while teaching Hamlet, is repeatedly visited by the ghost of her dead father, and receives advice on reducing anxiety from characters such as Crazy Larry the cynical teaching veteran, Rainbow the yoga teacher, and Elvira the healthfood store clerk. Laura Wiley plays over ten different characters in this solo show on anxiety, middle-age disillusion and listening to your inner voice.

Monday, September 12 "Let's Talk About Us": The Rumpus and The Believer present these brilliant authors: Michelle Tea, Susan Straight, Jesus Angel Garcia, and David Rocklin. Plus, music by Hate Factory!
