From a 67-year-old heart attack survivor determined to conquer the race that almost killed her, to a rookie team of animators who are utterly unprepared for the 197 mile long adventure, this character-driven documentary takes a celebratory look at personal motivation and attempting the extraordinary.
Saturday, July 16 Gotham Girls Roller Derby Boot Camp, designed for those who already know how to play roller derby, incorporates general skills as well as a focused workshop on positional and offensive blocking.
Saturday, July 16 At Cinema 16 benefit screening for Millennium Film Workshop, bands score avant-garde films live to support the experimental film foundation.
