Events On The Edge of Seattle, Washington, produces original interactive comedy and musical theater shows. Inspired by the local success of unique interactive theater shows like Tony and Tina's Wedding, Teatro Zinzanni, and Late Night Catechism, the company seeks to add to that success and fill a niche with their original interactive comedy and musical shows. Events On The Edge began in April of 2000 as a small event company providing interactive entertainment for public and corporate clients. They are now hitting their stride as a larger production company, achieving the goals they set out to accomplish while growing in clientele. Their main goal continues to be the production and creation of interactive theatre shows written exclusively for Events On The Edge while employing local artists from the talented pool of the Puget Sound. What's next? Their movement is leading toward a screenplay based in improvisation, while continuing to produce two variants of dinner theatre.
Events On The Edge currently produces the incredibly successful interactive murder mysteries aboard the Spirit Of Washington Dinner Train with It's a Mystery Productions. Their productions are available for the public to attend and can also be arranged as private events for corporate clients and special occasions in which they provide private custom scripted mysteries drawing from your groups necessities.
The success of this event has allowed Events On The Edge to extend into an alternate project, a full production of interactive dinner theatre in its second run, called FUH-GEDDABOUDIT! An Interactive Mafia Musical. Like all of the Events On The Edge productions, FUH-GEDDABOUDIT! boasts an original script and musical score. This comedy was written for the production ensemble by Greg Delaney and Angela Rinaldi as an exclusive mafia favor.
This show will take you to places the Soprano's couldn't even get into! They invite you to join the wheelchair-bound Godfather and Head of the Biscotti Crime Family, Don Giuseppe Biscotti, along with the entire Biscotti family including: right-hand man Vito Carbonara, Vito's demanding ex-wife Margie "Marge in Charge" Vesuvio Carbonara, the Don's conniving and ambitious daughter Carla Cacciatore, family musician Stella 'Knuckles' Moncello, FBI Agents Smith and Wesson, rival gang member 99 Cent and just a guy with No Name for an evening of interactive mafia activity served up "Family Style."
You will be encouraged to play along as the evening progresses, where you get to know all the family members as well as enjoy a good old-fashioned family Italian Dinner. Did we mention that the cuisine is amazing? You will have your choice of a vegetarian entree or a chicken specialty (we recommend you and your friend get one of each). You will need the energy for later, because as the evening continues, you will participate in various improv games. These are rumored to include learning new special 'skills' for family survival, how to perform a proper 'hit', and supposedly even how to survive FBI surveillance and pressure. And we hear that there are also songs and serenades along the way, as patrons vie for acceptance and family positions. Who knows, they might even elect a NEW DON (the vote could be fixed!) You might end up a "MADE MAN" (or woman) if you play your cards right!
