What is there to do for Valentine's day? When you have a special someone, you want to do something romantic and out of the ordinary. When you're on your own, you want to go out and have some fun!
Looking to woo your love? How about a Chocolate Valentine Fantasy Night, a night of love, chocolate, art and jazz. If a night of love songs might better suit your plans, you can see Kim Nalley, who will be performing an evening of your favorite love songs, all by request. The Long Leaf Opera is offering Love Songs from Broadway and Opera, which includes cocktails and a three course dinner.
For those who are seeking a little relief from the overflow of lovers and their loveliness, why not try something like the Shameless Valentine's Party @ Re-Bar, an Anti-Valentine's day party where they've decided to celebrate Halloween instead! Or maybe you'd be interested in a little bowling alley theater? The Bryant Lake Bowl Cabaret Theater is having performances of "Pam Plagge Hates Valentine's Day", where Pam Plagge will be performing dances about kittens, stabbing, rainbows and more! There are even several roller derby events, for those that want to see some black and blue in place of pink and red!
No matter your state of mind, there's plenty of events to occupy your February 14th. |
